The room provided was spacious. The bathroom included both a shower and a luxury slipper bath! the staff demonstrated helpfulness and charm throughout the stay. breakfast presented a good choice of options.

superb historic gem
central locationdetailed attentionparking inconvenience
the location was excellent, very central. the room i stayed in was beautifully furnished with attention to detail. breakfast was great (especially the kedgeree!). the staff seemed genuinely happy, and this feeling was contagious.
i struggled a little to find where to park upon arrival. i had to stop and ask for directions to the parking area behind the building. the doors at the rear were locked due to a wedding, causing a slight inconvenience.

the staff were warm and cute. michelle was particularly helpful, serving breakfast and afternoon coffee. she is an excellent ambassador for this house.

the building is historic and lovely. The room looked like a magazine picture! The super nice team and nothing was too much trouble, i loved it. Breakfast was delicious and the dining room was nice.
i struggled to find where to park my car upon arrival. there was a wedding. I was told the parking was behind the hotel, it took me a while to find it

The room was immaculate upon my arrival. I found plenty of drinks provided including tea coffee pods and fresh milk. Breakfast offered a plentiful choice including fruit cereals pastries and a cooked breakfast.
I struggled to find where to park the car. I was told there was no bar. I discovered the cleaner had left the vacuum cleaner inside the room.

The room was really spacious and so comfortable, it had everything i needed. breakfast was very well organised with a good range to choose from. i found the staff attentive and keen to make sure i had everything i wanted. Nothing was too much trouble. the location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city.
the reception is not open all hours.

The hotel is ideally situated for exploring the city. It is close to various restaurants, the cathedrals, the castle and the theatre. it's easy to walk to the main attractions. the central location makes it very convenient.
